Gugulethu Mbatha (better known by the name Gugu-Mbatha Raw) is an British actor and film actress that became popular when she was a part of the BBC series "Doctor Who" which is which is a British sci-fi TV show. Gugu gained a great deal of acclaim for her performance in the role of Tish Jones, the daughter of a major character called Martha Jones, in the show. Handler's professional career started as part of the all-female Oxygen TV show in the reality show with a hidden camera and practical humor series Girls Behaving Unstably. This reality TV show ran from 2002-2005. The handler began to appear on various other programs, including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler started working as a correspondent on The Tonight Show as a correspondent. Her breakthrough came in 2006, when she was able to host her own show on E! The Chelsea Handler Program. The Chelsea Handler Show lasted two years. Handler performed on Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour the following year throughout the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have shown her stand-up performances live. In 2010, it was revealed that she was going to host at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2010.
