Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish actor and model. She was born on 11th November, 1966. Her debut in a feature film was in a minor part on The James Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Then, later she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and in the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan Donavan played the role part of A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. Charlotte was in Taffin (in 1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody started modelling after she was approached. It turned out to be a lucrative career. Doody tried to stay clear of the glamour of nude roles which was a principle she applied in her acting. The actress starred alongside Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Elsa Schneider, an Austrian Nazi sympathizer as well as a archaeologist from the forensic field in the 1989 film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody has worked with three James Bond actors. Doody was later a guest on the medical drama of RTE The Clinic and was set to be the lead actress in a remake of horror classic The Asphyx but the project was later put on hold. The actress began her two seasons on Beaver Falls, the E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. The show featured her in We Still Kill the Old Way, a 2014 film. In November 2018 she received the Almeria award for best film and was awarded a Star on the Walk of Fame in Almeria.
